EXMOUTH police are appealing for witnesses after an alleged assault took place in an alley way leading from The Strand to St Andrews Road at 11pm on Tuesday January 27.

EXMOUTH police are appealing for witnesses after an alleged assault took place in an alley way leading from The Strand to St Andrews Road at 11pm on Tuesday January 27.

The police said the suspect was a white male, 5ft 11", in his early 20s, clean shaven, wearing a blue baseball cap with stripes, and a dark jacket and jeans.
