Are we trying to cut sea pollution?

PUBLISHED: 07:00 20 April 2013

Exmouth is undertaking major seafront investments to attract seaside tourism.

However, as the Journal has reported, Exmouth (and Budleigh Salterton) are the two seaside resorts in East Devon likely to fail minimum bathing water standards from 2015.

These two towns will then have to display “No Swimming” signs.

Can we know whether steps are being taken to identify the sources and then reduce the pollution?
