Age Concern Budleigh Salterton is looking for new volunteers to help deal with an increased demand for its services.

The independent charity offers activities from the Norman Centre at Budleigh Public Hall.

Manager Sian Bannister said: “We are fortunate in having a wonderful group of dedicated volunteers, but with more clients now coming to our popular lunch club and activity days, we would really benefit from some extra hands. I would love to hear from anyone who enjoys the company of an older generation and finds they have a few hours to spare.

“No special qualifications are needed - just a good humour and genuine concern for others.”

The charity would like help with a range of services, including its lunch club, activity days, keep-fit sessions and its drop-in facility.

To find out more call 01395 445510, email ageconcernbudleigh@btconnect.com or just call in for a chat anytime Monday to Friday between 10am and 3pm.
