Appeal after vehicle-related crime in Budleigh

Police are appealing for information after two vehicle-related incidents in Budleigh Salterton.

Officers say that, between Monday, March 6, and Saturday, March 11, every panel of a car in Norman Crescent was scratched with a sharp implement.

Anyone who has any information should ring 101, quoting CR/018090/17.

Police also said the rear window of a car was smashed in Lime Kiln car park between noon and 1pm on Sunday, March 19.

Anyone who has any information should ring 101, quoting CR/020632/17.

In a report read out at a town council meeting on Monday, PCSO Chantalle Major said that there had been 24 incidents reported in Budleigh between February 27 and March 24.
