We were very saddened to discover this week that the delightful proprietors of Wessex Dry Cleaners, Rolle Street, Exmouth are closing their business because of continual racist abuse they have received (Journal, July 3).We have always had excellent and courteous service from this dry cleaners and they will be missed. More importantly, we find it appalling and shameful that this ignorant behaviour is going on in our community.We should all be ashamed of this - and it must stop.Tim and Claire Whiter,Church Road, Lympstone.
