Ancestor would be disgusted

I am astounded that the thought of moving the war memorial has even crossed the minds of the powers that be. Who ever they may be. My ancestor, J Carter, was chairman of the council during the first two years of WW1 and I am sure he would be disgusted,

I am astounded that the thought of moving the war memorial has even crossed the minds of the powers that be. Who ever they may be. My ancestor, J Carter, was chairman of the council during the first two years of WW1 and I am sure he would be disgusted, as I am, at the thought of moving this memorial to all those who gave their lives so that people can now make such suggestions.
