Kevin Stagg found gulity of causing death
AN Exmouth man has been found guilty today (Monday) of causing the death of a mum-of-five.
Kevin Stagg, 55, formerly of Mountain Close, was found guilty of count two causing the death of Sue Dare by carless driving over the prescribed alcohol limit.
But at Exeter Crown Court today he was found not guilty of count one, causing death by dangerous driving.
He had denied both charges.
Sue Dare, 43, died after she was dragged under the wheels of a car for around 200 yards on July 6 2008 after night out at the Clinton Arms with friends.
Sentencing will be determined later this afternoon, Monday February 21.
