Alleged fake banknotes - man charged

A 32-year-old man from Llanelli, Wales, is to appear in court next month charged with passing fake banknotes.

A 32-year-old man from Llanelli, Wales, is to appear in court next month charged with passing fake banknotes.

The charge relates to two alleged incidents in Budleigh Salterton, said police.

Police said a man had been arrested and released on police bail to return to Heavitree Road Police Station, Exeter, where he was charged on Monday.

He will appear before Central Devon magistrates on January 20, 2009.
