In order to raise funds and to keep the seafront lights, would it not be possible to introduce all-year-round parking fees on the seafront. Every day, numerous cars are being driven to the town and are parked free of charge along the seafront.

I fully realise this would necessitate someone to collect the cash, but surely anything is better than nothing, which is what Exmouth is sadly becoming, I am afraid.

I trust the Strand Gardens project will prove positive in the end. But can we please have a straightforward update on the 'progress', if any, on the bowling alley project that has lain idle for some considerable time now.

Would someone tell the builder that there are not 31 days in any September, especially 2008, which appeared on the notice closing the Madeira Walk junction at Carlton Hill and which still remains closed to this day.
