The AGM will feature talks on the year's activities, a quiz, and festive nibbles

Anyone with an interest in nature and conservation is welcome to attend the AGM of the Devon Wildlife Trust’s Exmouth Local Group on Monday, December 10.

It will be a chance to hear about the work done by the group in the Exmouth area during the past year.

Chairman Roger Hamling will talk about the Bystock Pools nature reserve, and the events held there to raise public awareness of the beauty spot and its many species of wildlife.

Mike Tracey will tell the story of the wildlife garden that has been created in the allotments at Hamilton Lane in Exmouth. Mike, who is a local historian, has been digging into the past of the mini nature reserve and has unearthed some interesting little gems.

The AGM will also feature Liz Hamling’s brain-teasing quiz which reminds many members of how little they know about wildlife.

The event takes place at 7.30pm in Glenorchy Church Hall, Exmouth. Admission £3 will include tea, coffee and festive bites.
