CHILDREN from All Saints Pre-School in Exmouth demonstrated their athletic abilities at a sports day.

Pupils aged between two and four took part in a number of events ranging from egg and spoon competitions to sprints on Friday, July 17. Parents also competed against one another in races.

A leavers' ceremony was held after the sports day for children moving on to different schools from September.

Youngsters leaving All Saints, a charity-run school, will go to either The Beacon, Exeter Road School, Withycombe Raleigh, Bassetts Farm or St Peters Primary.

Kathryn Jones, manager at All Saints, said: "Lots of parents attended the sports day. The parents' races were hilarious.

"All the children got winners medals and stickers."

All Saints school reopens after the summer break on Thursday, September 3.
