A new season of talks hosted by the Devon Wildlife Trust's Exmouth Local Group will begin on October 9.

The first talk will be given by Dr Sam Bridgewater, who works as head of wildlife and conservation for prominent landowner Clinton Devon Estates.

Dr Bridgewater’s talk will be an illustrated look at an A to Z of Devon’s alien invaders, running from American skunk cannabis through to zebra mussels, via Himalayan balsam and others.

In a change of venue, which regular attendees are advised to note, this talk will be taking place at Glenorchy Church Hall, in Exeter Road, Exmouth.

The talk will begin at 7.30pm.

There is a suggested donation of £2.50.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available to those who attend.

Everyone is welcome to go along and find out more about the interloping wildlife.
