AIR rifle shots, which broke windows in The Colony, have led police to issue a stern warning over firearms. Officers are investigating damage to a property in Egremont Road thought to be caused by air rifle pellets. Exmouth police have warned the public

AIR rifle shots, which broke windows in The Colony, have led police to issue a stern warning over firearms.Officers are investigating damage to a property in Egremont Road - thought to be caused by air rifle pellets.Exmouth police have warned the public that carrying a firearm in a public place without authority is illegal.In unrelated incidents, a day-old lamb was killed by an airgun at a Clyst St Mary farm at the weekend, while officers have warned of the dangers of firing pellets on Woodbury Common - a Ministry of Defence training area.
