An air ambulance landed in the Bradham Lane area of Exmouth this afternoon (Thursday, November 9).

An air ambulance has reportedly landed in the Bradham Lane area of Exmouth this afternoon (Thursday, November 9)

According to reports, Bradham Lane was closed in both directions due to a ‘serious accident’ between St John’s Road and Moorfield Road at around 1pm

An air ambulance landed in the area and was accompanied by a road ambulance and a rapid response vehicle.

It is being reported that Bradham Lane has since re-opened and the air ambulance has left the scene.

Devon and Cornwall Police and the South Western Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.

Update: A South Western Ambulance Service spokesman said they were called at noon to a private address in Exmouth where a patient was having a suspected cardiac arrest.

The spokesman added: “The patient was taken to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital for further treatment by a double crewed ambulance.”
