Active Villages is gearing up to visit the village in the coming weeks and is urging those living in Colaton Raleigh, or surrounding areas, to get in touch with ideas.
The Active Villages programme is funded through Sport England and is being delivered by Leisure East Devon (LED).
Residents are being asked to contact LED to identify the types of activities the community would like.
There is also the chance for people to work alongside qualified leaders and instructors, picking up the necessary skills and training to continue the community activities.
A spokesman for the Active Villages programme said: “The project is about getting rural communities active, bringing the village together in a social environment.”
