Police have acted on concerns raised by residents of Featherbed Lane, Exmouth, who say the road is being used as a cut-through and traffic is exceeding the speed limit.
Neighbourhood officers sent letters to drivers of vehicles caught speeding in the area, after a ‘sting’ was carried out in Featherbed Lane and Hulham Road.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “There are concerns about perceived racing of vehicles.”
Exmouth police are also monitoring traffic speed in Hulham Road after residents recently highlighted fears about the roundabout at the junction of Pound Lane and Hulham Road.
