Festive concert at Glenorchy Church will raise money for Brain Tumour Support

Exmouth’s Renaissance Acappella Chorus are presenting a Christmas Show on Thursday, December 13 in aid of the charity Brain Tumour Support.

The Chorus are a group of ladies who sing in four-part harmony, and each year they raise money for a chosen local charity.

In September they visited Exmouth’s twin town, Dinan in France, where they performed in the Abbaye de Lehon. Since then their activities have included entertaining at a residential home in Exmouth and leading the singing at the Armistice Day commemoration in the Strand Gardens. Now their various Christmas engagements start in earnest.

Guests appearing alongside Renaissance at the Christmas Show are Exeter Road School Choir, Tim Othen, Zoe Thomas and The Intruders.

The show, which is at Glenorchy Church, Exeter Road, starts at 7pm with doors opening at 6.30 pm. Tickets are £5 and include refreshments. They can be bought on the door or from Palmers, Whitton and Laing Estate Agents, 1 Chapel Street, Exmouth.
