Abseil for Devon cancer sufferers
ANYONE looking for a real adrenaline rush can now sign up to a 220ft abseil and help raise much needed funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care in Devon.
ANYONE looking for a real adrenaline rush can now sign up to a 220ft abseil and help raise much needed funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care in Devon.
The event is taking place on Sunday 21 June 2009 in the Dartmoor National Park, at Canonteign Falls, near Exeter
"Be the first person you know to descend down England's highest natural Waterfall," says Devon Community Fundraiser, Samantha Surridge.
"This is a fantastic new event for us this year, anyone over the age of 16 years can take part and no previous experience will be necessary, the event is run by an experienced instructor who will oversee everyone's decent."
It costs �10 to register and there is a suggested minimum sponsorship of �175.
Marie Curie Cancer Care provides high quality nursing, totally free, to give terminally ill people the choice of dying at home supported by their families.
