A trip down memory lane, as local historians present an illustrated talk on life in the town in bygone days
A talk at Exmouth’s library will be right up the street of anyone who is interested in the town’s past, or nostalgic for bygone days.
In Exmouth’s Lost Heritage, Ian Cann and Paul Radgick will give an insight into what life was like in Exmouth in the past century.
Both men are Exmouth born and bred, and well-known locally as historians, researchers and speakers on the town’s heritage.
They remember many local features which have disappeared during their lifetimes, and have a collection of photos preserved by their families, showing life in Exmouth as it used to be, and illustrating the changes over the last 100 years.
In the talk organised by the Friends of Exmouth Library, Ian and Paul will share their memories and memorabilia.
It takes place on Wednesday, November 7 from 7pm until 8.30.
Admission is £2, which includes refreshments.
