A mammoth month of coffee mornings in aid of Exmouth and Lympstone Hospiscare has raised more than £8,000 for the charity.

To thank the 40-plus business and individuals who gave up their time in aid of the EX8 charity – where every penny raised stays in the EX8 area - Exmouth and Lympstone Hospiscare has released a roll of honour to publicly praise those who helped by holding coffee mornings.

The charity thanked its sponsor, Raymond James, for backing the campaign.

Lucy Hancock, Exmouth and Lympstone Hospiscare spokeswoman, said: “We have now collected all the monies in from the coffee morning campaign and I am extremely pleased to say that the final total is a fantastic £8,582.”
