A delightful visit

PUBLISHED: 07:00 22 November 2013

I would like to take this opportunity to thank year six and the staff at St Peter’s School, Budleigh Salterton for the ‘wartime’ lunch they arranged for November 11.

The lunch was delicious, apparently made to a wartime recipe, but certainly far nicer than the school meals I remember, and the group of children who looked after me were delightful.

They took me on a tour of their school, of which they were rightly proud, and we had a very interesting conversation.

They had obviously researched their questions well and I was really impressed by them and the whole ambience of the school.

Well done St Peter’s and year six and good luck in your new school next year
