The residents and staff of Stallcombe House would like to thank everyone who attended their recent annual traditional summer fayre.
Despite the best intentions of the inclement weather, a fabulous day was had by all.
The event was officially opened by our patron, Toby Young, and was very well attended.
There were many stalls and attractions, including donkey rides, Morris Dancing by the Sidmouth Steppers, the DFRS Brass Band and a Royal Marines Armoured Viking Vehicle.
The barbecue and cream tea stalls were extremely popular, as well as the displays of residents' work in the weavery and lots of fresh home-produced vegetables for sale in the new Th Shed.
We raised nearly 3,000, which will go towards enhancing the lives of the residents.
