The Exmouth Museum and Heritage Centre hosted a day of festive fun.
It joined forces with The Sheppards Row Community Association, Exmouth Town Council, Exmouth Library, Plastic Free Exmouth and Glenorchy Church to bring the community together.
The days free event was jam packed with creativity, community spirit and eco-friendly Christmas cheer!
During the afternoon The Stable Gallery and the Cottage were open to the public and we welcomed a number of visitors to the Museum.
The children had great fun playing traditional games of bygone day’s and completing the festive dinosaur hunt. The adults were able to take a tour of the museum where stewards were on hand to answer any questions about the history and heritage of Exmouth. The museum was beautifully decorated, and the stewards were dressed in Victorian costumes.
We would like to thank everyone who helped make the event so special, to all the visitors, to the volunteers who gave up their time, and for everyone who donated prizes to our Christmas raffle.
This wonderful event hi-lighted the need to work towards a greener and more sustainable Christmas.
The Sheppards Row Community Association is made up of The Exmouth Museum and Heritage Centre, the Exmouth branch of the Salvation Army and The Exmouth Arms.
