A blind and deaf dog was rescued by Exmouth RNLI after getting cut off by the tide in the River Exe on Sunday, April 21.
HM Coastguard called out the lifeboat crew after the owners of the dog, Peppa, reported that she was in difficulties.
The inshore lifeboat George Bearman II, launched at 3.49pm and were on scene within a few minutes. The stranded dog was quickly secured by the crew and returned to her relieved owners.
This was the sixth call-out for Exmouth RNLI last week.
