Dot Taylor has donated her friend's collection of poetry books to Exmouth Library and other organisations in tribute to her late friend.
Dot was gifted a large collection of poetry by friend Janet Lee, and decided to share the books amongst several groups in Exmouth.
Exmouth Library has displayed the books, which people can loan on a stand near the front entrance, complete with a picture of Janet.
The assortment has been added to a collection by the library entrance titled 'Poetry collection in memory of Janet Lee.' The books have been added to the library's collection, meaning they will stay in the library indefinitely.
A spokesman for Exmouth Library said: "We are proud to add a new poetry collection to our shelves, donated by Dot Taylor, a member of the local community. We feel lucky to have been gifted such a special collection of books, and look forward to enjoying them with the community at large.
"We're thankful to Murray from Stock Services for helping us make this possible. Feel free to request and enjoy these books with us!"
