The town's RNLI is starting a Launch a Memory scheme, which allows members of the public to have their name engraved onto the all-weather lifeboat.
Through Launch a Memory, people can remember a loved one they miss, or celebrate someone, by adding their name/s to the letters and numbers on the Shannon class lifeboat and therefore ensuring that they are there with the crew every time the Shannon boat launches.
Register online rnli.org/launchexmouth or call 0300 300 9905 to add a name via the Launch a Memory team.
If you require further information please contact launchamemory@rnli.org.uk.
