A concert in Woodbury by the New Jersey Boys will raise funds towards a new child-friendly waiting area at the RD&E Hospital's emergency department.

The band will perform tributes to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Showaddywaddy and other musical legends.

They are promising 'superb harmonies, stunning solo spots and light comedy ... a great evening of entertainment with all the hits, including Bye Bye Baby, Sherry, Can't Take My Eyes Off You, Big Girls Don't Cry and much more, featuring the incredible falsetto voice of Einar Vestman and the humour of entertainer Gary Gould'.

The concert will take place at Woodbury Village Hall on Friday, May 10 at 7.30 pm, and there will also be a Grand Draw. Tickets are £20 and can be booked via    www.royaldevoncharity.org.uk/event/new-jersey-boys

The Royal Devon Hospitals Charity is raising money to create a separate space for children and families in its new Emergency Department, with wall murals, light panels, interactive digital equipment and comfortable seating.

Concert organiser Gordon Bess said a new child-friendly waiting area would make a big difference to so many young patients and their families: “It will mean children and young people will no longer have to sit alongside adults in an often-cramped waiting room at what can be a scary and upsetting time for families."
