On Friday 22nd March, Littleham C of E Primary held a community event, which invited parents in to help tidy, clean-up and upgrade the school.

Projects included painting the entrance to the school, clearing out and demolishing old sheds and pressure washing the Early Years area.

A lot of the clearance work is to make way for the new play equipment and trim trail being installed in the summer term. The LINK Academy Trust have also invested in the Early Years environment, which will be ready for after Easter.

Headteacher, Mr Paddon, said "This event really showcases what makes this community so special. People have given up their time to help the school, which in turn improves the experience for the children. I cannot thank them enough."

Chief executive officer of the LINK Academy Trust, Nicky Dunford, said, "It has been brilliant getting to know the Littleham team and community over the last term and we look forward to the school joining us officially from the 1st of April."
