Volunteers from a Devon charity made a difference in Budleigh, taking part in a community litter pick to keep the streets clean.

Seachange Devon teamed up with Budleigh Salterton Lions Club on March 12.

A spokesperson for the charity said: "It was fantastic to be outside, working together to clean up our town."

The group did their bit, collecting a total of eight bags of litter.

Following the clean-up, the volunteers took time to socialise at local venue, Wesley's.

The charity operates in Exmouth, Woodbury and Budleigh Salterton, working to increase social cohesiveness, reduce isolation and loneliness, whilst aiming to improve the health and happiness of the community.

It is mostly funded through public donations and sector grants.
