Exmouth National Coastwatch Institution (NCI) visited Millbrook Village to receive a significant donation to its Exmouth station.
The residents had selected the coastal watchdog as their charity of the year for 2023, and facilitated fundraising events throughout the year.
In total, they raised an impressive £6,919.06.
The visit on March 4 included members of the station's watchkeeping team.
Station manager extended Exmouth NCI's gratitude to the residents for their generosity.
A cheque was presented by Mr David Phillips, chair of the Residents Association.
The funds are to be utilised towards the mounting of an extra CCTV camera to monitor Sandy Bay, an incident hotspot currently not covered by the existing system.
