Exmouth Mayor and Town Council will be holding a Charity Barn Dance In aid of the Mayor of Exmouth's chosen Charity, Open Door.
It takes place on Sat, 9 March 9 at Exmouth Town Football Club, 19 Southern Road Exmouth EX8 3EE. Tickets are £10.
The Dress code is upcycled thrifty country dancing outfits, something that isn’t new and you’ve had in your wardrobe for a while.
Live band and dance caller; enjoy the experience of American Old Time Barn Dancing to live music with musicians, Su & Jules, playing the fiddle & guitar and some banjo & mandolin.
Charity Raffle - all proceeds from the event go to The Mayor's chosen charity, Open Door.
Doors will be opening at 6:30pm on the night of the event in order for attendees to purchase a drink and find a table.
The Barn Dance will commence at 7pm and the Caller for the dance will invite participants to the floor.
8pm Break for refreshments & pasty of your choice.
8.30pm Back to the floor for more music and dancing and from 21:30 - 23:00 Socialise, raffle and dance the night away.
You must email the mayor's secretary with your choice of pasty, either meat or vegetarian to mayorssecretary@exmouth.gov.uk (Once you have booked your ticket.)
