Rest Haven Care Home in Exmouth staff and residents joined together with Florrie's family to celebrate her 103rd birthday last week.
Staff member Donna Gilliard told the Journal: "We were lucky enough to celebrate with all of her family throughout the day. We decorated the whole dining room for Florrie's birthday lunch, which she shared with all of our residents and her nearest and dearest.
"Florrie was definitely the 'Queen' for the day and everyone joined in with her celebrations."
Her favourite meal of fish and chips was enjoyed by all.
The afternoon was spent with all of Florrie's larger family who all joined in with the party and everyone joined in with her celebrations.
When asked what her Florrie's secret to staying young was, she replied 'a little whiskey and lots of fresh air.'
