Bargain hunters were out in force at a jumble sale in East Budleigh which raised more than £700 for charity.

There was a long queue outside the door of the village hall before the opening of the Little Otters event on Saturday, February 24.

Organiser Fran Mills said an 'absolutely massive' number of people came along to browse the tables, which were piled high with clothes, shoes, books, toys and household items.

She said 'the word has spread' about the jumble sales, which are held three times a year, and this one attracted people from as far away as Bridport.

The sales are always held to raise money for a local charity, and this one was in aid of Open Door Exmouth. The next Little Otters jumble sale will be in aid of Pete's Dragons.
