Exmouth Tesco at Salterton Road in Exmouth donate buoyancy aids to the National Coastwatch Institution in Exmouth.
Coastal safety officer, Karen Goldby received them last week from Lisa O’Shaughnessy who deals with community liaison at the Tesco Store.
Lisa is keen to assist in Water Safety and will be arranging for The Coastal Water Safety Team from NCI Exmouth to have a stand at the store later in the season to inform shoppers about local conditions and staying safe at the coast and in the water,
Karen said: "The Buoyancy Aids will be used in our Coastal Water Safety Education Programme. Such a generous donation will allow us to share them amongst other NCI Stations in the area who also go out and about speaking to young people and community groups about Coastal Safely."
