A quiz night in aid of Brain Tumour Support is taking place at Exmouth Cricket Club on Friday, February 9.
It's being organised by local resident Jeanette Hackwell, who has a brain tumour herself and was given invaluable support by the charity. She is now passionate about fundraising for Brain Tumour Support and spreading the word about the help it offers.
Jeanette has already raised £30,000 for Brain Tumour Support through various events and initiatives including the quiz nights at the cricket club's Terrace bar. Next month's quiz is the first of 2024.
She has been helped in her fundraising by the local branch of Santander and many local businesses that have donated prizes for raffles.
The quiz night on February 9 opens at 7.30pm for an 8pm start. Tickets are £4 and must be booked in advance by calling 07966 567288, or emailing Jeanette.hackwell.bts@gmail.com
