Seachange in Budleigh Salterton has introduced a home support service, SeaSupport, for people in Budleigh Salterton, Exmouth and Woodbury area.
A fee is charged for the services, but any profit will go back into the Seachange charity, which provides community health and wellbeing activities.
The team of home support assistants can offer:
- Light Cleaning and laundry services
- Personalised shopping assistance, including in-person or online shopping
- Light meal planning and preparation
- Accompaniment to medical or other appointments
- Walks and activities
The fees include an hourly rate of £23.50 for the above services, along with a one-off charge of £30 for an initial consultation at home.
All Seachange's Home Support Assistants hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate.
