There was a lot of bad language flying around at Exmouth's RGB Building Supplies in December - but it was all in a good cause.

The company installed 'swear boxes' in all its branches at the beginning of the month and encouraged staff and customers alike to make a donation if they let out an expletive.

It was part of RGB's year-long fundraising initiative for Children's Hospice South West, which brought in a total of £3,000. The Exmouth branch also joined in the company's Christmas jumper day on December 18.

Exmouth's branch manager Jason Hurley said: "We are thrilled to see the incredible support from our customers and staff throughout the year. The funds raised will make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families supported by Children’s Hospice South West. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who participated in our initiatives and made generous donations."
