Pupils of St. Peters Primary School recently joined residents at The Firs Residential Home in Budleigh Salterton to sing Christmas carols to residents.
The performance featured classic and beloved carols to create an atmosphere filled with festive cheer. Following the musical treat, residents shared cookies.
"We couldn't have asked for a more delightful morning," said the Home Manager. "The pupils' performance was not just entertaining, but it truly touched our hearts. It's moments like these that highlight the wonderful bond we share with our local community."
Resident, Lesley said: "Hearing the carols brought back so many lovely memories. And the cookies! Oh, they were just the icing on the cake. It's wonderful to see the young ones and share in their joy.
"The event underscores The Firs Care Home's commitment to creating an engaging, lively, and heartwarming environment for its residents. The care home extends its gratitude to St. Peters Primary School for their thoughtful visit and looks forward to welcoming them back very soon."
