A local home care provider has thanked the community for their support in 2023.
Award-winning Home Instead Exeter & East Devon has looked back at everything achieved in the last year with pride and gratitude.
It highlighted the increasing support from the community and appreciated its team's accomplishments.
The company's notable achievements include a renowned 'Outstanding in all 5 areas of inspection' rating from the Care Quality Commission.
It is no easy feat, as only nine out of over 13,000 organisations have achieved this top standard.
Home Instead Exeter & East Devon were also named as Employer of the Year at the Exmouth Business Awards in October.
It also received a five-star rating as an employer in care, according to an independent survey by Workbuzz.
The company's community engagement included more than 40 free workshops on nutritional needs in later life, scam awareness, and dementia.
Marketing manager, Sharon Coombes said with praise: "It’s been a hugely positive year for our team.
"For the public to have engaged so fully with regard to our events and vital topics such as dementia, has been wonderful.
"Informed communities are safer ones, so we thank them for their interest and look forward to beating our record of 40 free community talks in 2024!”
