Exmouth Chamber of Commerce has today launched its annual 'Exemas' Christmas shop window display competition.

Any business which has a shop front on Exeter Road, The Magnolia, The Parade, The Strand, High Street and Rolle Street. This years theme is 'going green' and the chamber want to see eye catching displays with a Reduce, reuse and recycle in 2023 festive style.

A spokesman for Exmouth Chamber of Commerce said: "The Season to Love Local! Let's light up the town centre and show what Exmouth has to offer by decorating your shop window.

"Share your previews and take the promo online with: #ExmasWindows2023 . To enter - simply decorate your shop window. Judging by Exmouth Chamber of Commerce will take place on18 December."

The annual 'Exemas' window display competition, sees members of the Chamber tour the town and pick out the best festive displays in the shop windows. The Chamber last year noted that there was 'perhaps fewer displays than previous years.'

The 2022 overall winners was Daffodils Florist of Church Street, with their Christmas lady of foliage and decorations. Committee member and organiser Debbie Langdon presented the business with the Exmouth Journal supported Winners Trophy Cup, a certificate and a champagne hamper.

The second place prize was awarded to Hospiscare of Exeter Road, who used items from the shop to curate an eye catching window.

ShopDeadGorgeous, of the Strand, were awarded third place prize for their jam-packed window of Christmas goodies and treats, which were lit up beautifully.
