Paddleboat Theatre Company, based in Exmouth has been awarded a grant of £101,087 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
The grant allows the group to run their 'Uncertain Tides Project' Which aims to The project link young people to the natural heritage of the coastline between Exmouth & Paignton.
A spokesman said: "We will use the arts to explore what it means to live in this unique area of the country, the challenges it faces from the climate crisis and what young people want to happen in the future. We will keep you updated as the project progresses! Made possible with The National Lottery #HeritageFund, with thanks to #NationalLottery players."
Charities, companies and community groups across the UK can apply for funding, which is then decided by a board of trustees and funding is given.
