On Tuesday 17th October, Littleham C of E Primary School had an enrichment day focused around inclusivity and trying something new.
The school was privileged to have Jack Davey, of the Exeter Otters wheelchair basketball team, and also David Hill, Paralympian, at the school to give the children the opportunity to try their sports. A fantastic day was had by all
David is a triathlon Paralympian from Paignton, born without the lower part of his left arm. After 12 years of international swimming he sought out a new challenge. David was new to the British Paratriathlon squad in 2013 having come from a swimming background. He competes in the PT4 category. Previously was GB Paralympics’ youngest athlete at the Athens Games in 2004; aged just 15 he competed in the final of the 100m Backstroke.
