The Seachange Community Fete held on Saturday, September 9 raised more than £2,000 for the charity.

200 people attended the festival and £2,000 was raised. All funds will be channelled towards Seachange. The event was successful thanks to volunteers and the support of the donors, the tireless efforts of staff, and the participation of everyone in attendance.

Emma Roberts, from Seachange said: "We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the local businesses that rallied behind us, contributing to our raffle's success. A special mention goes to the Exmouth Town Concert Band and Bill for gracing our garden with their enchanting musical performances. Our community stalls, from Budleigh Bees to The Budleigh Salterton Library, added an extra layer of charm to the event. And let's not forget the immense support from those who baked delicious cakes, dropped off fresh vegetables, and generously shared gardenalia.

Seachange supports people in Woodbury, Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton, and the neighbouring villages to help enhance the lives of everyone in our community. For more information visit https://www.seachangedevon.org/
