A 100-year-old car was the focal point at the launch of Exmouth in Bloom’s 2024 calendar at World of Country Life.

Members of the group had a ride around the grounds in the vintage Morris Cowley to celebrate the launch.

The calendars are now available for £5 from Celebrations, Kings Garden and Leisure, Birds and Bees and Porky Down Butchers. Exmouth in Bloom has thanked the local businesses who contributed to the printing costs.

Exmouth Journal:

Meanwhile, a tree has been planted in the memory of the late Pat Graham MBE, former president of Exmouth in Bloom, who passed away last October.

A small ceremony, organised by Paul Fealey and Adam James from East Devon District Council, was held in Manor Gardens for the planting of a white flowering cherry.

Among those who attended were Pat’s husband Keith, other family members, former colleagues from the town council where she served a term as Mayor, and friends from the current Exmouth in Bloom committee.

Exmouth in Bloom are now preparing for the two judging days for South West in Bloom (July 25) and the RNS national finals on July 27. In the national competition Exmouth is among the short-listed towns in the Coastal section, up against Llandudno (Wales), Litham St. Anne’s, St. Brelade (Jersey), East Haven Together (Scotland) and Whitehaven (Cumbria).
