Tickets are now on sale for a musical event with a difference taking place in Budleigh Salterton in May.

The Hermes Experiment, an award winning quartet made up of harp, clarinet, double bass and voice has been described as ‘spellbinding’ and ‘mesmerising.'

The quartet will perform at The Temple in Budleigh Salterton on May 13 as a one off performance as part of the Budleigh Music Festival which kicks off later in the year.

Chair of the festival Kate Somerby, says that the Hermes Experiment offers a great mix of traditional classical and contemporary music.

She added: ‘These four young brilliant musicians really do give something very different, with their original take on music from classical composers such as Debussy and Schumann, to more modern pieces, and lots in between.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer this incredibly high standard of music to audiences in East Devon. This concert is not to be missed.”

Tickets for the event start at £10 and are available to buy now at budleighmusicfestival.co.uk
