A walking group from Exmouth is celebrating its 1,000th walk next week.
Exmouth Happy Feet, which formed in December 2006, will reach the milestone on one of its weekly West Country walks.
The group walks five miles twice a month on Wednesdays and 10 miles every Friday.
Twenty six walkers will start from the Public Hall in Budleigh Salterton at 10am to walk the six-mile South West coastal footpath to The Grove Inn, in Exmouth.
At The Grove, they will be met by ten founder members for lunch at 12.30pm where there will be a celebration cake and speeches from members of the walking group.
