Budleigh Salterton's new Food Market & Craft Fair now has more than 25 crafters and local producers offering a wide variety of food, including organic, vegan and gluten-free foods.

Budleigh Salterton Food Market & Craft Fair is held the last Friday of the month in the Public Hall, Station Road. 9am – 1pm.

Organisers say the fair has been going from strength to strength with record number of shoppers since the beginning of the year, the Food Market & Craft Fair has been attracting visitors from across the region. The event aims to provide shoppers with as much choice and variety as possible with no two stalls the same.

A spokesman for the Budleigh Salterton Market said: "We are excited to announce we will be joined by two new local artisan food producers to the indoor market: Curworthy Cheese – award-winning handmade traditional artisan cheeses. Sourdough Sensations – freshly baked artisan sourdough breads and French patisseries.

"This month we will also be introducing a "Guest Craft Corner" to help shine a spotlight on the enormous number of talented craft people we have in Devon. March sees Tunza Rustic Woodcraft with their beautiful bespoke items.

"The event is a huge boost for the town and helps support local traders by bringing new visitors to shop and enjoy Budleigh Salterton and its surrounding areas."
