A man arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a crash outside the Saddlers Arms in Lympsone last night has been released on bail.
Police arrested a 21-year-old man from Teignmouth on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol yesterday (Thursday, February 3).
He has since been released on police bail until Wednesday, May 3.
Police were called to Exmouth Road at just after 7pm following reports of a crash between Lympstone and Exmouth outside the Saddlers Arms.
There were no reported injuries and the scene was cleared by around 8pm.
Traffic was held in both directions for around an hour. Police diverted drivers back into Exmouth and towards Exeter via Woodbury Common.
Bus routes such as the Stagecoach 57 Exeter to Exmouth service was temporarily disrupted as a result of the crash.
