Join the RSPB'S Big Garden Birdwatch and learn all their is to know about the birds living on the River Exe.

Take part in the RSPB's free Make a Bird Feeder event, in the Lookout Garden at RSPB Bowling Green Marsh on Sunday January 22 between 10:00am-1:00pm to get crafty, then take home and hang your feeder in your garden to attract your local birds before the big count on the 27-29 January.

Get up close to nature and learn all there is to know about garden birds this January in preparation for the RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch.

Learn to tell your blackbirds from your blue tits and your house sparrows from your starlings. A fun, family event designed to arm you with knowledge on attracting birds to your outdoor space and identifying them. Refreshments available to purchase. Donations welcome.

You can also join the Beginners Bird Watching Course on Thursday February between 6.15pm -8.15pm in the Estuary Room, Darts Farm.

This 10-week course is delivered on behalf of the RSPB by experienced volunteer, Dr Chris Lee. The course is designed for anyone new to the world of birds - or for those who would like to find out more.
