An Exmouth based artist has released new peices all inspired by his home town by the sea.

The Wild Seas Series by Paul Stretton-Stephens is a series of new, three mixed-media prints named STORM, TEMPEST, and MAELSTROM. This series was created out of Paul’s longstanding passion and respect for the ocean and inspired by his life by the sea - living at Exmouth.

Each of the pieces have been carefully composed with a selection of textiles and small accessories. They have then been photographed and digitally enhanced with a bespoke palette.

The prints can be purchased alone, or as a series and called by Paul as 'an ideal visual asset to any home or workspace.'

Paul was born in Nottingham and has been creating photography for many years alongside his day job and hasrecently discovered mixed-media and digital art.

His aspiration is to have his works hung on the walls of homes and other spaces around the world.

His mixed-media and digital art is mainly abstract and the themes are based upon his experience of life and his environment. Whereas his photography is almost always nature based with an emphasis on the coast.

His current long-term project is that of 'Coastal Life'. Paul’s passion for creating compelling imaginative images is clear in his works.

Paul's photography is currently focused on, but not limited to, a collection of Coastal Life photographs. And the digital art is subtle and explosive where he aims to create bold, compelling images for the home and /or work setting.

Paul's visual artwork conveys elements of life, life he has experienced and life he has witnessed first-hand. This all culminating in compelling images that suggest worthy visual stories of the dramatic sea and waves crashing in all weathers on Exmouth seafront.

Paul has a varied background, from service in the armed forces to physical education instructor, senior education management, to mindset coaching.
